Young, street, Facebook and other

The Arab world was dizzy. Since that day in Sidi Bouzid, a small town in Tunisia, a vegetable merchant in his injured right plunges into despair and himself on fire outside the town hall on the corner, the breath of anger and discontent shared by entire populations continues unabated. Two months already! Tunisia at first, then Egypt will have borne the brunt of this discontent Tide popular means to scrap outdated systems that no longer serve, and long, nor to aspirations of their people than the overall evolution of the world.

Yemen, the first, practically committee with Egypt has suffered and continues to make this sling and "step back" of a president in power for over three decades seem not having the desired effect. Worse, the days go by and regularly bring their share of protests, arrests and injuries.

Iran too, and have been celebrating the thirtieth anniversary of the Islamic Revolution led by Imam Khomeini, is no exception to this "rule", even if populated by Persian and Shi'ite Muslim majority. Things there are suddenly worsened in the last three days in several large cities and the opposition to President Ahmadinejad was quickly transformed, first by challenging and questioning the supreme authority in Iran, one that is called the real power, the higher clergy chiiite. Meaning that it is neither more nor less than a profound change in which at least part of the current opposition seeks.

More surprising still is the case of Bahrain, where protests, although small in scale, have already been recorded. Further evidence that the wind of revolt that shook the Arab countries is a phenomenon quite new, the events that since yesterday's shake Libya irremovable Guide of the Revolution Muammar Kadhafi.

Morocco, he is preparing for a day of protests for 20 current and Rabat has already set the tone by accusing our country and the Frente Polisario to be the real instigators. Thereby indicating at least blindness, this pseudo argument hackneyed the external enemy, that Benali and Mubarak. Young Iraqis are not left out the ones who took advantage of Valentine's Day for "making fun" of their leaders.

So many countries with different political systems, traditions of struggle without great depth or real popular base, but that show, failing to prove that the concerns and realities have changed dramatically over the last two decades. First in that it is now very difficult to make any assumptions about the abilities of different Islamist movements to retrieve movements of young people who aspire to more freedom and democracy. Then in that whole Arab youth is everywhere in the majority. Finally, in that the youth knows, albeit in the most spontaneous, use and develop, like the Internet and Facebook, new and innovative ways to fight. Appellant made further responses from across regimes in place.
